Dear Parents/ Carers
As you will see from the newsletter there has been lots going on school. I would like to say a huge well done to all our children who have taken part in sports competitions. This has been a very successful year and our success has been celebrated in the local newspaper a number of times. Thank you to the parents who have supported these competitions, especially those who had to wait around for the children to return with medals and a trophy!
Unfortunately, we have had a number of concerns raised by local residents about litter outside of the school grounds. The School Council have been busy putting up posters and I would like to ask all parents to support the school and the community in tackling this issue by ensuring all rubbish is taken home.
Next week is SATs week for our Year 6 pupils. They have been working very hard throughout the year and now it is time to for them show off what they can do. We are very proud of all of them! During this week please ensure your child goes to bed early and is in school every day for 8.20 ready to start the day with breakfast and a chance to focus on the day ahead.
There will be lots more coming up over the Summer Term so please keep looking at letters, newsletters and the school website for more information.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
