Remembrance Day

Today is officially known as Remembrance Day. At the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month, a 2 minute silence will be held around the world to remember those who gave their lives during World War I, World War II and current wars being fought around the world.

‘In Flanders Fields’ was a poem written by Major John McCrae in 1915- here is the poem read by children from our school:
